Second Corrections Officer Give Crucial Information

UPPER MARLBORO, Md (WUSA) — Officer Anthony McIntosh became the 2nd of three critical witnesses in the Ronnie White jailhouse death investigation to be interviewed by Md. State Police investigators.

McIntosh, a 5-year Corrections veteran, accompanied by 2 attorneys, met with investigators, FBI agents, and prosecutors inside the State’s Attorney offices at the county courthouse for approximately 2 hours on Friday.

Last week, investigators heard from Officer Russell Hardesty. He also was on duty in Unit Five at the county jail the morning of June 29th when Ronnie White’s body was found inside his maximum security cell.

The following day the Medical Examiner issued a preliminary finding that White’s death was the result of homicide and caused by a broken neck. But this week 9 News Now verified Corrections officers are claiming White committed suicide inside his cell.

The third Corrections officer on duty in the cellblock, Ramon Davis, is the one who discovered White’s body. He has not yet agreed to be interviewed by investigators.

McIntosh and his attorneys had no comment after Friday’s meeting with investigators.
